In 2009 David deployed to Afghanistan as part of the Special Operations Task Group as a Sniper where he pushed his mind and body to the limit. He learned first hand the power of teamwork and small team leadership.
He then took time to travel the world, study, start a small business and volunteer in a humanitarian aid organisation deploying both to Pakistan and the Thai-Burma border.
